Hi Paul it's Andy from OKC. Thanks for posting...great pics!

Say I have a question for you. I noticed you and your wifes cranks are out of phase in the pictures. Do you have iSP? If not is there another reason you have them out of sync??

Becky and I just got a new Seavo and would love any input from you about these GREAT tandems. Thanks Paul. Anjbaker66@gmail.com

Hi, Andy --
I intentionally put the cranks about 20 degrees out of phase so our power strokes happen at the same point relative to our seating position, seatpan angle, and distance from the crank. You feel the difference when climbing... It also has the effect of, when I have the crank pulled back for starting up, she's in the same relative crank position -- it the angles were set the same, the crank would be pointing more straight up at her. I actually noticed this problem when we rode the Screamer at the 2011 rally -- when I had the crank pulled back for startup, hers was pointing straight up at her hip.

PB
