Cool to see the new Rans Fat Tire Crankforward, and now hoping Rans will put out a Fat Tire Stratus XP! When the XP came out it was referred to as Monster Bent. Fat Tires would truly make it a Monster!

I've taken my XP And my wife's Stratus off-road, and always thought they would be perfect with the new fat tires. Even if only frame and forks were offered that would fit 4" tires, I'd be happy. (If it is offered, I hope it would be available in "small", like regular XP, as that fits me without the bike becoming too gigantic.)

Hopefully, with the crank forward fat tire parts being in the system, a fat tire XP isn't far behind! ... ment.html#

(Richard Ehrlich on BROL suggested calling it the Stratus XC.)

Handling/steering may suffer -- I put 1.75" Marathons on my prior XStream, and could feel a difference in the steering -- more "flop" -- going to 4" might make it uncontrollable, due to the change in "trail"...

However, I will say that having the 1.75"s on the Xstream made it a nice cushy ride, and very good for night riding -- didn't have to worry so much about cracks and small potholes!

I've now put those size tires on my Rocket, for night riding.

Well, the Lightfoot Ranger "Bigfoot" seems to do just fine as a fat tire version of their Ranger. Why should they be the only company offering a fat tire dual 26" bent??? Especially since RanS started the dual 26" bent. Hello, RANS???
