did some research by trial and error and thought id share . . . big apples 2.35 don't fit on a cruz. i ended up with 1.95 town and country tires. couldn't find big apples locally in 2.0

however, the 1.95's just barely fit . . . i saw someone else on this forum was running 2.0's on a cruz . . . so i assume they would work.

the t&c's are ok for my ride . . . had a blow out and needed something fast. they do very well in loose dirt or gravel. however, they seem a little slow….next time, i hope to plan ahead and try the big apples. my wife is running schwalbe marathons on her brompton. pretty amazing tires and bike.

i'm commuting on the cruz 15 miles a day and then recreational riding on the weekends. i've found the cruz to be very comfortable. one of my favorite features is running it with rear panniers. never have to worry about heel strike! i simply load up the lone peak grocery bag panniers (one on each side) and go.

i put the heavy stuff on the kick stand side so the bike doesn't fall, and then my work clothes in the other . . .
