We feature three different geometries in our CrankForward bikes. All allow for exceptional power output. This is a result of placing the crank ahead of the typical location, and having the handle bars at the right height. This allows you to pull down into the pedals and apply more force. In most cases our CF bikes will climb well without coming out of the seat. This is great because on the most laid back geometries used on the Fusion, Fusion ST, and Cruz, it is not possible to stand and ride. You engage your abs more on our bikes, in fact your whole core will get more of a work out if you simply pull on the bars to climb or accelerate, once you have built up your core there is a noticeable difference in overall performance, especially in climb. The flatter tummy is nice too!

The Dynamik and Zenetik have a slightly steeper seat tube and shorter wheel base over the Fusion/Cruz bikes. And even steeper is our third geometry used on the Alterra and Mini's. Standing to ride on the two steeper geometries requires a bit of practice, but you will adapt fast if you realize you must move forward enough to stand over the pedals. If you are over the pedals you are where you need to be to stand and ride. At this point you can really use the handlebars to pull exceptional force, just like a typical bike. The Alterra geometry is steeper, meaning more like a conventional bike. Riders adapt fast to stand riding this bike. The DynamiK and Zenetik geometry are right behind the Alterra in stand ride ease, again the trick is to move up over the pedals, and use the bars to stabilize your body, and extract more climb power.

Trying these riding tips will reveal the exciting performance out of the RANS Crank Forward.

The Dynamik and Zenetik are the same geometry, and work the same. Only the Zenetik is has much more road bike flavor.
